Peter Harrell has been involved with Steam Locomotives and old farm engines all his life.
Working out of his detached machine shop in beautiful Fernwood, Prince Edward Island Canada,
Peter laboriously crafts "to scale" steam locomotives and gas engines either for his own enjoyment
or to the exacting specifications of the client.
MINI ENGINES:
Each item is created from a set of castings and then carefully machined, or totally from scratch using only the best bronze, copper and other fine metals to achieve not only a functional but an esthetically pleasing creation.
Finishing details include hand-painted line work and period correct colours as well as decals and trims that would be appropriate to the piece of that era.
MODEL ENGINES:
The attention to detail shows the dedication to preserving the machines of the past for those that will be living in the future.
All models are to scale and work. Other creations from scratch include the various parts that allows these machines to perform such as tiny spark plugs and buzz coils.
ENGINE PARTS:
All models are nicely displayed either on flat wooden bases or the more intricate "sled" bases. Once again, all hand-crafted and finished by Peter in his shop in Fernwood.
Please take the time to browse the photographs and see the various masterpieces that he has created for clients throughout North America.
Peter is always happy to receive either phone calls or emails regarding his creations and will work with you to give you complete satisfaction if you are looking for that special custom designed piece.
